When the Green Bay Packers were searching for a coach there was some thought they would hire someone who had a little more control over Aaron Rodgers. Coach Matt LaFleur has made some changes to the offense that he thinks will help Rodgers, but he doesn't ever want to take away from the playmaking ability that the future Hall of Famer has.

Rodgers has taken LaFleur's offense and put a little of his own touch on it, and that has impressed the first year head coach.

“He’s played the game with a certain style for his whole career, and he’s done it at a pretty high level,” LaFleur said via Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “I think just some of the things that he’s been able to really enhance within our offense has been a lot of fun to watch.

“You saw that off-schedule play that he made down in the red zone. He made another one to Jake Kumerow where I didn’t anticipate the ball going where it went, but that’s where it went and it was a touchdown. We never want to take that playmaker away from him.”

Rodgers has really focused on learning the offense and exactly what LaFleur wants for him and that seems to be a change. With Rodgers and Mike McCarthy, it was a lot of animosities and it seemed that Rodgers was always going off script and doing what he wanted.

This is a good sign that LaFleur and Rodgers are on the same page and the hope is that will result in a lot of wins for the Green and Gold.
