The Packers' Za'Darius Smith sacked Chicago's Mitch Trubisky Sunday night, stripping the ball and allowing fellow teammate Preston Smith to return it for a touchdown.

Not only was the sack on Mitchell Trubisky the ninth of the year for the outside linebacker, but it was also his third strip sack of the season.

Signed by Green Bay last offseason to a four year, $66 million deal, following his tenure with the Baltimore Ravens, Smith has been a focal point of the Packers' defense for the last year and a half. Should he find a way to tackle the quarterback for a loss in the remaining half of football in the match, Smith will have multiple sacks in a game for the third consecutive week.

As for Preston, who Za'Darius shares a position and surname with, the touchdown was the second of his career and first since 2018, when he was a member of Washington.

In extending their already sizable lead over the Bears, the Packers appear well on their way to improving to 8-3 on the season, as they vie for the number one seed in the NFC with the New Orleans Saints. Having entered the game only 2-2 over the last four contests, a win Sunday night would also solidify their position against the streaking Vikings.

For a team that is often seen to struggle when it comes to generating points outside the heroics of franchise QB Aaron Rodgers, the penchant for havoc Za'Darius Smith has displayed has certainly been a welcome sight.
