Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers have been explosive offensively lately, and when get a rhythm going, they seem to be unstoppable. Carolina recorded their third straight win with a 42-29 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. In Week 8, the Panthers dominated the league's top ranked defense, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 36-21. Newton says the Panthers have unlimited potential to what their offense is capable of.

“When it's clicking, it's clicking,” Newton told  the Charlotte Observer after their last win. “As far as the talent level on this team, it's extremely scary. We possess a lot of different matchups in our favor.”

Cam Newton completed 19 of his 25 passing attempts for 247 yards and two touchdowns. Second-year running back Christian McCaffrey has been racking up yards all year, and he rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns against the Bucs. McCaffrey also recorded five receptions for 78 yards.

The Panthers have been able to incorporate Greg Olsen, Devin Funchess, D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel into their offense as well, giving them a number of options that seem limitless. The next test Carolina will face is the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night this week.

At 6-2, the Panthers sit just behind the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South. Carolina still has to play New Orleans twice, so there's hope for them to compete for the conference title. Until then, they'll have to take things one game at a time as they prepare for the high scoring performance it'll take to best the Saints.
