It has not taken Cam Newton a lot of time since his return to the fold of the Carolina Panthers before he's made quite a significantly positive impact on the team. That's if you ask Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson, who spoke glowingly of Newton, per Josina Anderson of CBS Sports.

#Panthers WR Robby Anderson to me on Cam Newton yest evening: “His energy, his personality, his aura it rubs off on everybody. I would say we kind of was like missing that, especially from like the offensive side of things..like that veteran leadership role.”

Although Newton has yet to be officially declared by the Panthers as their starter for Week 11's matchup against the Washington Football Team on the road, the general belief is that him taking over the quarterbacking duties for Carolina is just a matter of time. Until the Panthers make such a declaration, it appears that PJ Walker will continue starting for the team.

In any case, Newton has already made his mark in his reunion with Carolina. In his first game back as a Panthers quarterback, Newton went 3-of-4 with a touchdown toss and a rushing score in a 34-10 road win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.

The Panthers signed Newton shortly after Sam Darnold suffered a shoulder injury that landed him on the injured reserve.
