Sam Darnold's New York Jets career was an absolute disaster, but he's making the most out of his fresh start with the Carolina Panthers. Darnold has played well en route to a 3-0 start, and he surprisingly has been making an impact with his legs.

That continued on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Darnold rushed for two touchdowns in the first half against the Cowboys, giving him five rushing touchdowns on the season already. The Panthers quarterback is now the first in history to score five rushing touchdowns in the first four games, per NFL Research.

Darnold only had five rushing touchdowns in three seasons with New York. Of course, not that much was expected from Darnold in the running game. He was drafted high to be an elite passer for the Jets, but for a variety of reasons, he flopped badly.

The Panthers quarterback has done well throwing the ball as well. Heading into Sunday's Week 4 tilt, Darnold had 888 yards passing and three touchdowns to just one interception. He also completed over 68% of his passes and has kept his efficiency going against Dallas.

Will Sam Darnold be able to keep this going? The rushing TD pace will surely fall off, but we'll see if he can keep throwing the ball well for Carolina.
