After starting the season on the right foot, Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold has looked just as bad as he did for the New York Jets.

He already has two interceptions in the game versus the New England Patriots and the game still has a quarter to go. Darnold on the season has eight interceptions, which are more than the seven touchdowns that he has.

Darnold and the Panthers are 4-4 on the season and from the looks of things, they're going to be 4-5 after this game versus the Patriots.

Not only did Darnold throw an interception, but the Patriots also took it back to the house and were able to put seven points on the board because of it.

After starting the season on the right foot the Panthers just haven't been able to figure it out. They did get back Christian McCaffrey and that is exciting for the Panthers. He's an incredible player who is always going to help an offense.

Darnold and the Panthers will look to come back in this one against the Patriots. They still have an outside shot at the playoffs and fans are hopeful Darnold can start playing as he did in the first few weeks of the season.

If the Panthers want to make it in the playoffs, Darnold is going to have to figure it out soon.
