The New England Patriots are set to take on the Miami Dolphins in an interesting Week 18 matchup. If the Patriots win the game, and the Buffalo Bills lose theirs, Mac Jones and company will walk away with the division title.

Unlike their Week 17 victory, this isn't going to be an easy assignment for the Patriots because they always have a tough time in Miami and the Dolphins have already beat them this season. Usually, both of these teams split, even when Tom Brady was the quarterback for the Patriots. Now, coach Bill Belichick is going to hope that they can do the same thing with Jones and potentially win the division crown if the Bills do end up losing.

It is unlikely that the Bills are going to lose because they are going up against one of the worst teams in football in the New York Jets. But the Patriots are focusing on their mission. According to Karen Guregian, a Patriots beat columnist for the Boston Herald, Belichick already has a hot plan.

“Bill Belichick will be turning up the heat for an indoor practice tomorrow to get ready for Miami conditions.”

This is an interesting yet genius move from Belichick because Miami is certainly going to be hot. With how cold it is up north in New England, the Patriots are going to have to get ready for the extreme heat that they are going to go into in Miami.

This will certainly help their team but it won't do everything for them as the Dolphins are going to come out and try to beat this Patriots and end the season on a high note.
