With the New England Patriots bringing in Antonio Brown, Julian Edelman knows his targets might go down, but that isn't something he is concerned about.

Edelman knows there is still plenty of passes to go around, and even if he has fewer targets, he knows Brown and Josh Gordon give the team a better chance to win.

“I think it is everyone buying into the process of improvement,” Edelman said via WEEI.com. “That is what September is about. It’s about going out and learning your team and improving your team through practice and games. When you have guys who are unselfish and really buy into that, the best stat is the win stat. That is what I am looking forward to and that is what I look forward to doing, is trying to play your best game on Sunday and collect wins.”

Edelman also wants everyone to remember that there was another guy who used to take away some of his targets, Rob Gronkowski.

“I played with this guy Rob Gronkowski, I don’t know if you guys have heard, he’s probably like the best tight end ever to play the game,” he said.

Even if the targets on their way down. the first two games didn't show it. Through the first two games, Edelman has 10 receptions for 134 yards, but he is still looking for his touchdown. It's clear he isn't too concerned about that though because the team is 2-0 and they have looked good to kick off the season.
