There's been plenty of low points during the two decades the New England Patriots have thrived under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. However, the moment fans jeered the Patriots during the team's horrible loss to the Kansas City Chiefs got on Kyle Van Noy's nerves.

Patrick Dunne of NBC Sports Boston reported how the linebacker felt disrespected as the fans booed the team during the game, saying that it was disrespectful for the fans to do that.

However, he made it clear to everyone listening that he wasn't affected in the slightest by the fans' unfavorable reactions.

“Why would it bother me? You asked if it was a playoff atmosphere. Obviously it sucks when it doesn't go the way we want, but know that we're all trying,” Van Noy said. “We're trying to put the best product on the field. We're not trying to disappoint anyone. Just imagine as a fan or a media person that our feelings are probably 100 times more. Our livelihoods are on the line and we want to win.”

Fans who followed the Patriots the entire season know that the offense leaves a lot to be desired recently. There are instances throughout the season where Tom Brady failed to keep up with some of the best pass-callers in the league. It may be Father Time catching up to TB12, but it's probably more of a case of the offense not being up to standards.

The only way the Patriots can stop the boos is by making the Super Bowl once again. But even that is tough for the current iteration of the Patriots.
