The Tennessee Titans have been considered a team that could sign Tom Brady away from the New England Patriots. Prior to free agency, Tiki Barber, a former running back in the NFL, believes there is some shady business going on behind closed doors.

In a tweet sent out on Friday, Barber accused Titans head coach Mike Vrabel of tampering with the Patriots gunslinger.

Of course, Barber is referring to the video that surfaced last weekend of Brady and Vrabel. While at a college basketball game, Brady and Julian Edelman were seen FaceTiming Vrabel.

With Brady being an impending free agent, some people believed it was peculiar that the two were speaking over the phone. However, it is important to note that Brady and Vrabel are known to be close friends off of the field. Plus, it makes no sense that Vrabel would speak to Brady about his free agency with Edelman present.

On the other hand, there are going to be people like Barber who are questioning Vrabel's purpose of FaceTiming the free-agent quarterback. Also, when Vrabel explained why he FaceTimed the Patriots legend, he wasn't exactly hiding the fact that Brady is a free agent.

If Vrabel was speaking to Brady about his looming free agency decision, that could definitely be considered tampering. Even though it could be regarded as tampering, it's unlikely the NFL would be able to prove it.

Despite there being a tampering rule in place, there are always conversations happening that the NFL is unaware of. The legal tampering period for NFL free agency is set to begin on March 16, with free agency officially getting underway on March 18. Provided that, it's safe to assume that Vrabel will speak to Brady over FaceTime before then.
