What do you call three touchdowns in one game? A hat trick.

On Monday, New England Patriots running back Sony Michel completed the grueling task of a hat trick, as he ran in his third touchdown early in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets.

After scoring the touchdown, Michel's Monday night stat line includes 17 attempts for 43 yards. Each of his three touchdowns came near the goal line.

Michel scored in the first quarter on the NFL's longest touchdown drive of the season; a 16-play, 78-yard effort that took 8:47 off the clock. Watch below as he successfully runs in a touchdown off of a well-designed (and well-blocked) sweep play.

He punched in his second in the second quarter. Watch below as the second-year back punches in the one-yard score while following lead-blocks.

In all, the Jets defense had no answers against Michel in the red zone. It doesn't help that their offense doesn't have answers for Bill Belichick's defense.
