Pau Gasol is having a hard time with his decision to play in the Olympic games this summer in Brazil.

Initially, he expressed concerns about the Zika virus and whether or not he should play because of his fear of possibly being infected.

Today, it seems Gasol really wants to play and is looking for alternative options in case Zika gets to him.

Gasol recently told reporters that he is considering his options, specifically one:

freezing sperm is one of the measures I have to consider.

Although Gasol has not yet made a decision on if he will join Team Espana, freezing a sample of his sperm is an option he will likely choose if he does, because birth defects are common in children of people with Zika.
