With only two weeks prior to the release of NBA 2K18's The Prelude, the development team has released the list of the top 10 centers in this year's iteration, led by New Orleans Pelicans big man DeMarcus Cousins with a 92 rating.

Cousins has made a big jump in his game, stepping out to the three-point line and becoming a viable weapon from beyond the arc, knocking down 131 treys during the 2016-17 NBA season at a 36 percent clip.

From his athleticism to his impeccable ability to get blocks and steals at a near rate, his improved passing ability and strong acumen at the free-throw line, Cousins makes for one of the most well-rounded bigs at the center position, giving him a just rating for his diverse style of play.

He's closely followed by third-year big dipper Karl-Anthony Towns, as the only other center rated in the nineties with a 91 rating, rounding out the top three with Marc Gasol.

The future at the center position looks bright with the likes of Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Myles Turner all ranking in the top 10 in this year's game, which begs the question — who said the center position was dead in the NBA?
