New Orleans Pelicans guard Josh Hart gave us the laugh of the evening following his reaction to what Houston Rockets superstar James Harden did on Saturday night. Hart reacted hilariously as Harden hit his face with the ball after the Rockets guard bounced it off the floor out of sheer frustration.

This was easily one of the funniest moments of the new season, and for his part, Hart gave us his honest reaction to what transpired.

“I like it,” Hart said when asked about Harden’s reaction, via Sam Amick of The Athletic. “I was kind of clueless at first (when he saw Harden). I mean I like it because guys like that – if they’re feeling good it’s going to be a long night. There was the time that he did that, and another time (earlier in the game where) he threw the ball off the (stanchion out of frustration). So you could see (he was) a little frustrated.”

Hart hit the nail on the head right there, as Harden's reaction was of pure exasperation following a rather lackluster first half. The former MVP had another poor shooting night, going 8-of-29 from the floor, including 2-of-18 from distance, en route to a 29-point performance. Harden also turned the ball over eight times.

Hart believes that his defense played a huge role in Harden's frustration, and admitted that he felt good about his own performance against one of the best offensive players in the game today.

“You know, as a defender that kind of reinforces (that) you’re doing your thing. You’re making him work for it, making him frustrated. He’s busted my ass for the last two years I’ve been there, so I guess – he still had 29. I don’t know if I can say I won the matchup, just kind of trying to limit him. But it was a battle. It was good.”

Hart logged 23 points (on 8-of-17 shooting), five three-pointers, three rebounds, an assist, two steals, and a block in 34 minutes of play. He has been pivotal for the Pelicans thus far, but despite his heroics, New Orleans are still 0-3 to start the new campaign.
