Big Baller Brand failed to build a good reputation as a sports apparel company. Despite LaVar Ball's efforts to keep it relevant, the constant negative reviews it received from customers was a major reason for its downfall. Now, New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball, has made it clear that the BBB shoes he wore during games were terrible quality and needed to be changed all the time:

Even though the ZO2 debuted two years ago, Lonzo didn't wear them often. In his first two years in the NBA, fans would always see him wearing Nikes, particularly the signature sneakers from Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Now we know why.

Lonzo has already distanced himself from Big Baller Brand, and these recent comments about the shoes created and distributed by the company is an indication that he has no plans to return.

Up to this point, Lonzo is still a sneaker free agent, but it is unclear if he will get an endorsement contract from Nike or Adidas anytime soon. If he's going to secure that shoe deal, he will need to prove himself on the court next season.

Zo has shown flashes of becoming an elite point guard, but his inconsistencies and injuries have hindered his growth over the past two years. Hopefully, a fresh start with the Pelicans will be able to help him turn things around.
