It's been a year since Sasha Vujacic was in the NBA, but the longtime shooting guard was reportedly in Louisiana for a tryout with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Andrew Lopez of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Vujacic last played with the New York Knicks in 2016-17, heading to Italy at the end of the season after a fairly dry market didn't help his potential return to the league.

The 3-point specialist recently asked for restaurant suggestions in the Big Easy, quickly getting a couple of them from a timely follower.

Vujacic, 34, could provide the long-range aid that the Pelicans have so sorely needed during the past couple of seasons, finishing in the bottom half in made threes during the past three years.

The 6-foot-7 wing spent his first six seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers as a support piece for Kobe Bryant, but ultimately caught some eyes upon being traded to the New Jersey Nets.

The Pelicans have already taken a gamble with big man Jahlil Okafor, and could potentially take another with Vujacic with an Exhibit 10 contract if they feel he merits it.
