The most-awaited debut game of Zion Williamson has finally come to pass. While the New Orleans Pelicans fell short of pulling a comeback against the San Antonio Spurs, Zion's performance gave the Big Easy a lot of reasons to be excited about the future.

In his post-game presser, Williamson expressed his joy for finally being able to play after missing the first half of the season due to a knee injury. However, the Pelicans rookie did not that he did not like the losing part of his first ever professional career.

His personality during his first post-game presser was everything the Pelicans fans wanted to see and more. His words are something the city's disappointed sports fans would certainly want to hear, especially after the New Orleans Saints crashed and burned during the NFL playoffs.

Williamson had a terrific performance despite playing only 18 minutes in his NBA debut for the Pelicans. He finished the night with 22 points, seven rebounds, and three assists on 72 percent shooting.

What's more impressive is that he didn't just rely on his freak athleticism, as he made all four of his 3-point attempts. The range he showcased against the Spurs in their 121-117 defeat was an announcement to the entire league that they should respect his shot or he will keep on making it.

Zion Williamson put on an incredible display of basketball, and it was enough to lift the spirits of the city's sports fans. Fans will now certainly be looking forward to the Pelicans' next game against the Denver Nuggets and see how Zion fares against one of the league's best centers in Nikola Jokic.
