Want to see a classic Rajon Rondo type of play? Look no further than what the 32-year-old point guard did during the first quarter of Game 4 between the New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday evening.

With 7:02 left in the first quarter of action, Rondo turned the clock back with a perfect behind-the-back pass to superstar power forward Anthony Davis, who threw down a two-handed dunk to tie the game 14-14. Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard and rising star center Jusuf Nurkic were both fooled quite badly by Rondo on the play, as well.

A video of Rondo's epic pass to Davis, which was kindly uploaded to Twitter by the NBA's official account, can be viewed below in all of its glory.

When it comes to the veteran guard Rondo, the man is simply a whole different animal once the playoffs roll around each season. In eight minutes of action in the first quarter, Rondo had two points on 1-of-1 shooting from the field, four assists, and two rebounds as the Pelicans led the Blazers after the first 12 minutes.

As for Davis, the star power forward played the entire first quarter and had eight points on 2-of-3 shooting from the floor, two blocked shots, and one board.

The Pelicans are looking to sweep the Blazers today at home and if they win Game 4, this would be New Orleans' first playoff series win as a franchise since the 2007-08 playoffs when they defeated the Dallas Mavericks 4-1 in the first round.
