Penn State football is well-known for their daylong festivities on Saturdays that feature quality atmospheres, but that won't be the case in 2020. Ahead of Penn State's regular-season opener on Saturday, fans of the program will be preparing for games with certain boundaries.

Due to the concerns with COVID-19, students at Penn State aren't permitted to attend daylong tailgates or bars on Saturdays. However, there are going to be students that attempt to push the envelope, causing some to ask for everyone to come together and follow the guidelines.

“This going to be obviously the first time where everyone is really going to try to get together and everyone is going to try to do something, so I think it's definitely something we should look out for,” said student Katerina Balukas.

With the Big Ten season getting underway this week, the Nittany Lions will kick off their season versus the Indiana Hoosiers. But with the unusual circumstances from COVID-19, don't expect a normal setting at Penn State before the game.
