After the Detroit Pistons' 133-132 overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, there was some postgame drama between Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond. The latter had gotten ejected from the game in the last minute of regulation, after apparently elbowing Embiid to the floor following a layup by the Sixers star.

The Sixers center conducted a postgame interview with the Philly Inquirer's Keith Pompey in which he claimed that:

ā€œI feel like I own a lot of real estate in his head.ā€

Drummond wasted no time responding to Embiid's agitating words, voicing his disagreement via Twitter.

Drummond clearly does not appreciate Embiid's comments, and he even insinuates that the play that got him ejected was due to a flop by Embiid with his ā€œactorā€ reference. The video of the ejection seems to show little to no contact, and Drummond might have a point. The league will be sure to look at the play and fine Embiid if they deem it a flop.

When Drummond was ejected, Embiid was certainly pleased to see him go, gesturing dramatically for the Pistons big man to get off the floor, which is what Drummond was referencing with his ā€œso excitedā€ phrase.

Before his ejection, Drummond was having a decent game. He had 14 points and 16 rebounds to go along with three steals and two blocks but shot an uncharacteristic low of 30 percent from the field.

The Pistons were lifted by a monster performance from Blake Griffin, who had the NBA's first 50-point game of the year.

While the Pistons went on to win the game, it was without Drummond's assistance. He will have to block out Embiid the next time the two teams match up — Nov. 3 — to ensure he can help his team bring home a win.
