Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin has recently joined the list of the NBA players who have been given a preview of their overall rating in the popular NBA 2K19 game. Griffin got a rating of 86, and the five-time all-star expressed his disappointment through his Twitter account.

There's not much to see here, other than the three dots that Griffin wrote in a statement of dismay over his 86 rating. With this overall rating, NBA 2K ranked him below sophomores Donovan Mitchell, Ben Simmons, and Jayson Tatum, who all got a rating of 87.

Pistons big man Andre Drummond also expressed his disappointment over his teammate's ‘low' rating. Interestingly enough, Drummond also ranked higher than Griffin with an 87.

After seven productive seasons with the L.A. Clippers, Griffin was traded to the Pistons for Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, and a draft pick. Griffin was superb in his time with the Clippers as he won a Rookie of the Year award, and was selected five times to the All-Star team.

However, his individual brilliance never translated to postseason success for the Clippers. It was of no coincidence that when the Clippers traded Chris Paul to the Rockets last season, the premier point guard reached his first ever conference finals.

Despite this, it could still be argued that Griffin deserves a much higher rating. After a disappointing first season with the Pistons, Griffin will be linking up with Drummond and last year's Coach of the Year Dwane Casey to take the Pistons to greater heights.
