With the Detroit Pistons reportedly on the brink of blowing their entire roster up in the wake of Blake Griffin's latest surgery, former MVP winner Derrick Rose has unsurprisingly gained considerable interest from a number of other NBA teams.

For his part, though, Rose admitted that this is not something he has spent too much time thinking about:

“I haven’t really thought about it,” Derrick Rose said, via K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago. “Me and [agent] B.J. [Armstrong] haven’t talked about it. When we have talked, it was more about All-Star and what appearances I have for adidas. It wasn’t anything else as far as like what teams are calling, this and that. We were pretty straightforward. We talk about how I play.”

Derrick Rose is currently having another outstanding season, averaging 17.8 points (on 49.0 percent shooting), 2.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists.

The 31-year-old veteran is also playing 25.4 minutes per game off Detroit's bench, and most importantly, he has been able to remain relatively healthy for his team. To date, Rose has missed only five out of his squad's 40 games played. By his standards, that's definitely an accomplishment.

Rose came to the Pistons last summer as a free agent, signing a two-year, $15 million deal. While he may be enjoying his time in The Motor City, the direction the team is currently taking might just dictate a move away for Rose. The Pistons are 14-26 and are quickly falling behind in the East, so at this point, a complete revamp is looming.
