With the Raptors and Pistons tied with 1.2 seconds left, coming into the building, coaching against the team you help build and grow into a contender and they fired you.

Jose Calderon is inbounding the ball. You run a play. Reggie Bullock makes a great cut to the basket. He hits the running layup as the buzzer sounded. You come and get revenge on your ex-team and win 106-104.

This is probably the same exact reaction you would have as Dwane Casey did.

This was the first time since being fired that Casey returned to Toronto. He got revenge and defeated his team with an excellent game plan and also an excellent last play of the game drawn up. Casey gets revenge on his former team.

The Raptors are the top team in the Eastern Conference. Not only was this a revenge win for Casey, but this was a confidence builder for the Pistons team as a whole.

The Pistons now stand at 7-6 and they are the sixth seed the conference. They are now four games back of the Raptors.

The Pistons have started the year probably what everyone expected. .500 team, may make the playoffs. However, Casey knows how to build winning teams.

When the Pistons hired Casey over the summer, they expected him to build the team into a winner. He did it with the Raptors. Slowly, but surely they turned into one of the best teams in the conference.

It may take the Pistons sometime to get where the Raptors are, but they have the right coach to take them there and have the right group of players.
