Nonetheless, Messi in Paris would certainly be a scary sight. With an already electrifying duo of attackers in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, adding Lionel Messi to the mix would be an absolute handful for any backline in France or Europe.
The Barcelona striker enjoyed another fantastic campaign last term, bagging 30 goals and tallying nine assists in 35 La Liga appearances for the Catalan club, although they did fall short of their title aspirations. Messi is also starring for Argentina at the 2021 Copa America, having already scored four goals in five games. They face Colombia on Tuesday for a spot in the finals against Brazil on the line.
