PSG striker Neymar has committed his future to PSG until 2025 after signing a brand new deal at the Parc des Princes last week. While he’s already played with one of the greatest footballers ever at Barcelona in Lionel Messi, Neymar wants Cristiano Ronaldo next.

In a recent interview with GQ, the Brazilian voiced his desire to take the pitch with Ronaldo, whose future at Juventus is extremely uncertain at the moment.

“I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo,” he told GQ. “I have already played with great players, like [Lionel] Messi and [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven’t played with Ronaldo yet.”

While it’s unlikely that PSG would be the club to potentially get ahold of Ronaldo this summer, it’s not out of the question, either.

Juve failed to win their 10th straight Scudetto this term, with Inter Milan clinching the title already. But Andrea Pirlo’s side is also in absolute shambles, currently sitting fifth in Serie A. With three games left in the season, Juventus is three points behind AC Milan for the final Champions League spot.

Could you imagine Cristiano Ronaldo playing in Europa next year? Not a chance. it’s already been discussed that if the Italian giants do miss out on Europe’s most prized competition, the Portuguese international will push for a move away from Turin.

But, a problem that arises is Ronaldo’s hefty salary. He’s currently owed £30million in 2021/22, which isn’t a number a lot of teams across Europe will want to take on. The 36-year-old would likely have to take a pay cut to play Champions League football next term.

Meanwhile, with Neymar staying put in the French capital, it should be a stepping stone for PSG to also keep Mbappe, who has seen contract negotiations with the club stall in recent months. But, with his strike partner around for the long haul and a bright future ahead, you could see the Frenchman also sign a new deal.

As for Neymar’s wish? Nothing is out of the question at this point. But if Cristiano Ronaldo somehow ended up in a PSG shirt, their attack would be without a doubt, the best in world football.
