Emmanuel Sanders is known as one of the hardest-working players in the NFL. The Denver Broncos' wide receiver, to no one's surprise, has continued living up to that billing during his ongoing recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon, on track to be ready for the regular season despite suffering the injury in December. Needless to say, when Sanders praises another player for his work ethic, his words carry more weight than most.

During an appearance on 104.3 The Fan, the nine-year veteran said Oakland Raiders superstar Antonio Brown works harder than any other player in the NFL. How is he so sure? When the pair were teammates with the Pittsburgh Steelers, even Sanders couldn't match Brown's dedication to his craft.

“There's nobody in the NFL who can match how hard Antonio (Brown) works,” he said. If I can't match it, nobody can.”

Sanders and Brown played four seasons as teammates with the Steelers, from the time the former was selected as a third-round pick in 2010 to when he signed with the Broncos in free agency four years later. A more complementary player with Pittsburgh, Sanders quickly established himself a legitimate No. 1 option in Denver, notching career-highs of 101 catches, 1,404 yards, and nine touchdowns during his debut campaign with the team. He's yet to match those numbers since, but has nevertheless been a reliable target for the Broncos throughout his tenure.

Brown, meanwhile, was traded to the Raiders in March following a controversial 2018 season with the Steelers. Despite knocking heads with both coach Mike Tomlin and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the six-time Pro Bowler had another banner season, leading the NFL with 15 touchdown catches.
