Drake is known for bringing teams bad luck and Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley isn't taking any chances. In a video released by “UNINTERRUPTED,” Gurley was asked by former NFL wideout Andrew Hawkins if he has Drake's phone number saved to his phone.

Gurley made it clear that he doesn't because he knows about the curse that follows Drake everywhere in terms of sports teams.

“Nah, he’s bad luck,” Gurley said.

“Is he? You believe in the Drake curse?” Hawkins asked.

“He had the jacket on … before the, you know,” Gurley replied.

Gurley is referring to a photo that showed Drake wearing a Los Angeles Rams coat before the Super Bowl.

That photo was actually photoshopped, but evidently, Gurley doesn't know that and is still holding a grudge against him for the photo.

Drake is one of the most polarizing figures in music, but it's funny how players are actually staying away from him just because of the preconceived curse that comes with him.

The last thing that Gurley or the Rams need is any more curses, especially if it involves something to do with his knees. The knee injuries are a real concern for Gurley and Ian Rapoport reported that the Rams aren't going to use him as their “bell cow” anymore.

The Rams need him healthy moving forward and it's pretty clear the team is going to do anything they can to help him achieve that.

“I want him to feel most comfortable. That's the most important thing, what he feels he can most function at, being the all-purpose back he's been and that's where we're at,” Rams head coach Sean McVay said.
