Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is having a Pro Bowl level season. It's exactly what the Rams were hoping for when they traded for him during the offseason. On Tuesday night, Stafford made the record books by becoming the fastest quarterback in NFL history to throw for 50,000 passing yards.

It only took Stafford 182 games to reach the 50,000 passing yards mark. Stafford is on pace to put up Hall of Fame type numbers for his career. So far, he has thrown 315 career touchdown passes. He, however, is 11 games under .500 in his career. He is 83-94-1 entering Tuesday night. Having played the vast majority of his career with the Detroit Lions has kept him from many postseason chances.
Stafford is still yet to win a game in the NFL Playoffs. The Rams clearly offer him the best opportunity to do that. He is in the midst of arguably his best season, throwing 33 touchdown passes to only 10 interceptions.
He is among the league leaders in most statistical categories at the quarterback position. Stafford, however, has hit a lull midway through the season. He threw an interception returned for a touchdown in three consecutive games.
The Rams are hoping to make some noise in the NFL Playoffs. Aside from Matthew Stafford, they are loaded with stars, including Odell Beckham Jr., Cooper Kupp, Jalen Ramsey, and Aaron Donald. They appeared to be all in when they brought in OBJ after his release from the Cleveland Browns. Unfortunately, the Rams then lost Robert Woods for the season when he tore his ACL in practice.
