The Texas Rangers got the job done in the ALCS, taking down the Houston Astros in the crucial Game 7 to book their tickets to the World Series. Naturally, Texas fans were absolutely ecstatic with the victory, especially when it looked like Texas was in trouble during the series.

Texas actually took a 2-0 lead to start the ALCS and appeared to be on their way to a quick series against Houston. But in a shocking turn of events, the Astros staged an insane comeback, including an incredible come-from-behind win in Game 5 to turn the tables and get a 3-2 advantage heading to Game 6.

Despite the momentum seemingly shifting to the Astros, though, the Texans didn't crumble under pressure and stole Game 6 on the road to set up the do-or-die Game 7.

With everything even again, the Rangers made sure they wouldn't collapse again like they did earlier in the series. Texas started Game 7 with three runs to one, with Adolis Garcia eventually making it 4-1 in the third inning with an epic home run.

The Astros were simply no match for the Rangers' slugfest, with Texas jumping to an 8-2 advantage by the end of the third inning. It was game over at that point, with Houston putting little to no resistance at all. Sure enough, the Houston team that won the World Series a year ago was nowhere to be seen.

After the big win, Rangers fans quickly took to X to express their delight and celebrate the victory, and rightfully so. After all, it is Texas' first appearance on the said stage since 2011.

Here are more reactions to the Rangers' massive 11-4 win:

It's certainly a well-deserved victory for the Rangers. They were the better team for the most part, and while they seemed to have lost that edge, the important thing is they were able to bounce back. The Astros put up one heck of a series, but in the end, their fellow Texas team was just too much for them.

The Rangers now head to the World Series. But before that, they await the winner of the Philadelphia Phillies-Arizona Diamondbacks NLCS, which is also heading to a Game 7 after the Diamondbacks tied it in Game 6.
