The curse of Lil B has been well documented in the NBA. Kevin Durant was the first notable NBA superstar to receive the curse back in 2011, for claiming he didn't know who the California-based rapper was. More recently, the based God bestowed his wretched curse on another former Oklahoma City Thunder player — Houston Rockets point guard and MVP candidate James Harden.

Lil B apparently took issue with the fact that Harden stole his cooking dance for celebration purposes, while refusing to give the rapper his due credit. The gripe escalated further when Harden posted a picture on Instagram of him doing the dance — still without a single nod to it's originator.

However, after James Harden's poor performance in a closeout game against the Spurs, Lil B appears ready to lift the curse — if Harden cooperates, that is.

Harden caught a lot of flack for his dreadful performance in Game 6 against San Antonio, when he shot a ghastly 2-of-11, and scored just 1o points in the elimination contest. While there's not many who believe in the voodoo magic of The Based God, a head scratching performance like that could turn any sane man superstitious.

Hopefully Harden wises up with Lil B before next year's NBA playoffs. Because at least for one game, the curse seemed all too real.
