The Toronto Raptors are solidifying the final roster and one of the final pieces to the puzzle is Chris Boucher. The former Oregon Duck and Canadian native was signed to a two-way contract by Toronto, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Boucher beat out four other players for the last two-way deal. Kay Felder, Deng Adel, Eric Moreland, and Kyle Collinsworth were the four players Boucher narrowly edged out, per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.

Boucher, 25, is entering an excellent situation. He'll spend most of his time with the 905 Raptors — Toronto's G League affiliate — but the organization has a history of developing contributors. Much of the Raptors' recent success can be attributed to the excellent second unit and the way the organization develops players in the G League.

Boucher only appeared in one game for the Golden State Warriors last season, but he played 20 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors, putting up impressive numbers. Boucher averaged 11.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in around 22 minutes per game. But his 2.2 blocks per game are perhaps the most eye-popping statistic.

Standing at 6-foot-11, Boucher is a long and gifted defender with a knack for rim protection. According to Wolstat, the Raptors were looking for a big man and Boucher looks capable.

The lengthy big man will play for Jerry Stackhouse on the 905 Raptors. Stackhouse is considered one of the rising stars in coaching and should have a chance to coach at the NBA level soon. Boucher will have a major opportunity to grow as a player while he's with the Raptors.
