The series between the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards has been close and full of storylines, but none is more compelling than what is brewing between between role players Delon Wright and Kelly Oubre.

Oubre apparently told the Washington Post after Game 5 that Wright only plays well at home. Well, Wright had some some thoughts about that, as he didn't seem to like that Oubre apparently threw him some shade with the comment, per Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.

Here's what's funny: Wright basically said Oubre's comments were accurate! He said he definitely has not played well on the road versus at home. As a player, isn't he supposed to deny any such notion that the opposition knows that they're taking about? Maybe Wright hasn't gotten enough media training.

Historically in the playoffs, role players don't play well on the road. It even happens in the regular season. But it gets amplified in the playoffs because rotations shorten, and if you're a bench player getting playoff minutes and don't play well, everyone knows it.

Although Wright confirmed that Oubre's opinion was much more than that, he definitely got the last laugh in the locker room. As he was finishing his media session, he mumbled something to himself that actually turned out to be much better than what he said before. Per Lewenberg:

Fans should watch what happens between Oubre and Wright in Game 6. It is going to be a doozy, and don't be surprised if the two get in some kind of altercation.
