The Toronto Raptors easily prevailed over the Philadelphia 76ers, 128-94, Saturday night. The home team was carried by DeMar DeRozan who scored 30 huge points for Toronto, but they also had to witness starting center Jonas Valanciunas leave the game early.

Valanciunas had an awkward landing on Dario Saric's foot in one rebound play, causing a nasty twist. The Raptors big man, though, willed his way for a few more run on the floor before finally deciding to give in and play it wisely. He did not return to the game beyond that juncture.

Brazilian big man Lucas Nogueira took over for his injured teammate in the second half, while Serge Ibaka also had a splendid performance on the night with 21 markers while scorching from beyond, by his standards, hitting five 3-pointers. Jonas Valanciunas played 15 minutes and totalled five points to go along with four rebounds.

The Raptors will now prepare for a long six-game road trip out in the West.
