Kawhi Leonard is having a postseason for the ages, and he's well on his way to winning NBA Finals MVP as long as the Toronto Raptors finish off the Golden State Warriors to win their first-ever title. Leonard's playoff numbers have been so prolific that he's set to join Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird as the only players in NBA history to lead a postseason in points, rebounds and steals:

Bird won one of his two NBA Finals MVPs in 1984 as the Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers in seven games.

Leonard is currently putting up 31.1 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game in the playoffs. Since he has appeared in all 22 Raptors playoff games, the totals come out to 684 points, 200 rebounds and 36 steals.

The Raptors star is currently way ahead of the pack in points. Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has the second-most points in these playoffs with 568, so Leonard has that category in the bag barring something absolutely crazy.

Rebounds are much tighter. Warriors big man Draymond Green is right on Leonard's heels with 194, so there's a possibility Green winds up the leader in that category when these Finals are all said and done.

As for steals, Leonard has a six-steal lead on teammate Danny Green, who has 30 thefts in these playoffs. Draymond Green is third with 28 steals, while Kyle Lowry has 27. Leonard likely has this category won as well unless one of these other guys has a massive steal game.

Even if Kawhi Leonard doesn't join Larry Bird in this exclusive, this will still go down as one of the best postseason runs of all time.
