The Toronto Raptors have set an introductory presser for their newest star Kawhi Leonard.

As reported by Josh Lewenberg of TSN, the introductory press conference will be held on September 21 and will feature Leonard and Danny Green.

For those following Leonard, he's an introvert, a reserved guy who speaks only when he feels like he needs to. In interviews, he usually gives one-word or generic responses. Perhaps the press conference is part of the efforts of the Raptors to warmly welcome Leonard to the city of Toronto, with hopes of making him stay. Whether or not the presser will be a boon or bane for both parties is a matter of wait-and-see.

When news broke that Leonard was being traded to the Raptors, analysts immediately deemed that it would be a one-year rental. On top of his expiring contract, the 26-year-old defensive stalwart openly admitted that he wants to suit up for a Los Angeles team — likely the Lakers.

Be as it may, the introductory presser is definitely a must-watch. During his whole fiasco with the San Antonio Spurs, Leonard didn't speak as much as he should've. Apart from discussing a new beginning with the Raptors, perhaps Leonard will clear things up with regard to his relationship with the Spurs and Gregg Popovich.
