Jared Dudley sent out a premature tweet during the game between his alma mater Boston College and Villanova. In the end, it was top-ranked team Villanova who won, 76-67, and Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry rubbed it in Dudley's face with a savage response.

Lowry, a Villanova icon, wanted Dudley to put his money where his mouth was.

Dudley, as expected, didn't seem pleased with Lowry's antics.

Boston College kept it close and even had a nine-point lead over Villanova. At the end of the half, it was a tied game at 34 apiece. But come the second half, the Wildcats showcased why they're considered a powerhouse squad. They outscored the Eagles 42-33 to eventually seal the victory.

What was turning to be a good night for Dudley became a bad one after his alma mater's defeat. Of course, Lowry had to let him know why Villanova is considered one of the best in the country.

Perhaps what worse for Dudley is that he still remains a free agent. While he expects the Lakers to bring him back, the Purple and Gold seem to be prioritizing the big names first before getting to him.

For Kyle Lowry and the Raptors, the offseason hasn't looked too well for them. They lost Marc Gasol to the Lakers and Serge Ibaka to the Los Angeles Clippers. While they expect the likes of Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet to get better in the coming seasons, the Raptors certainly lost some key players.
