If the 2019 playoffs started tomorrow, Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse would feel good about his team's chances of going on a deep run.
The Raptors are 51-23 on the season, which is good for second place in the Eastern Conference standings.
However, Toronto is just 5-5 in its last 10 games and currently on a two-game losing streak.
The Raptors lost to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday at home in heartbreaking fashion, as Hornets shooting guard Jeremy Lamb hit a miraculous half-court shot at the buzzer to give Charlotte the win.
Despite the team's recent skid, Nurse has full confidence in his team.
Nick Nurse: "I feel like if the playoffs started tomorrow I feel really good about where we are. I really do."

If the playoffs started tomorrow, the Raptors would face the Detroit Pistons in the first-round. Toronto went 0-3 against the Pistons this season. Detroit, of course, is coached by former Toronto coach Dwane Casey.
Everyone knows Toronto struggles once the bright lights of the playoffs come on. However, Kawhi Leonard is now on this team and LeBron James is in the Western Conference. James was a thorn in the Raptors' side year after year in the postseason.
Ideally, Nurse wants his guys to finish the regular season strong and enter the playoffs in a good rhythm. Toronto has eight games left in the regular season.
