Toronto Raptors Global Ambassador and known multi-platinum rapper Drake made his mark in the fall of the Houston Rockets on Friday night, once again taking part on some light chatter with inbounder Trevor Ariza, who was soon tormented by a hawking defense with 5.4 seconds left in the game.
Drake is seen taunting Ariza as he figures out an outlet, settling for Joe Johnson on a pass-back play that ended in a James Harden desperation three.

Maybe it was Godâs plan, Godâs plan
Houston had won a scorching 17 games in a row coming into Fridayâs game against the Raptors, making them the first of three teams with the longest winning streaks to fall on the night.
The Anthony Davis-less New Orleans Pelicans fell to the Washington Wizards minutes after, ending their season-high 10-game win streak, while the Golden State Warriorsâ seven-game streak was snapped by the Portland Trail Blazers (the lone longest streak in the league now) with Stephen Curry out to injury.
This win over the league-leading Houston Rockets will serve as a major shot of confidence for this Raptors team that has done well staying consistent and grabbing a firm hold of the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
While itâs doubtful Drakeâs words had more to do with the loss than the high-pressure defense the Raptors had played down the stretch, theyâll likely consider it as just one of the many contributions heâs given to the franchise, fittingly doing so in âDrake Nightâ out of all games.
Youâre welcome, Toronto.
