Toronto Raptors star forward Kawhi Leonard is not generally known as a funny guy, or even a particularly humorous one. Leonard is infamous for showing little to no emotion on the court. When he does show some emotion, it looks something like this:

Regardless, or perhaps because of these factors, the Raptors have decided to put Leonard front and center for the team's Christmas promo. Here's how it panned out:

Kawhi Leonard cracks the dad joke and barely shows a hint of a smile. Remember, this is the man who won the Finals MVP and barely cracked a grin despite being surrounded by jubilant teammates.

Despite his shyness, Leonard cuts a lovable figure and one that has been embraced by Toronto. The defensive whiz has been excellent while leading the Raptors to the best record in the league. In 21 appearances for the Raptors, Leonard has averaged a career-high 26.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, three assists, and 1.9 steals per game.

“The Klaw” has also developed into an elite three-point shooter, shooting 39 percent from beyond the arc. Combined with his 52 percent shooting from inside the arc, opponents are forced to pick their poison when attempting to guard Leonard.

So far, the Raptors look like they have found the piece they needed to finally make a breakthrough come playoff time. After years of having their seasons ruined by LeBron James in the early Eastern Conference rounds, the Raptors now have a legitimate chance to contend for the championship with Leonard at the helm.
