The Toronto Raptors are headed to the Eastern Conference Finals winning by the skin of their teeth 92-90 against the Philadelphia 76ers – thanks to a buzzer-beating game-winner by All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard.

While it was the patented baseline fadeaway that he takes (and knocks) on a regular basis, the finish was anything but conventional… and that's not only because he had to get it off against the Sixers' defensive stalwarts 6-foot-10 Ben Simmons and the outstretched arms of 7-footer Joel Embiid. Everyone was at the edge of their seat as the ball hit the side of the rim, ricocheted towards the middle, teased going out to the opposite side, bounced a couple more times, before finally rolling in.

It was a photo finish for a grueling series as the Raptors came away with the victory on their home floor. It also gave Leonard more credence in the hall of legends after a controversial departure from his former team the San Antonio Spurs that saw him being swapped for Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan. “The Klaw” has been showcasing in the playoffs his ability to become a legit go-to superstar that was buried underneath his reputation as a two-way roleplayer for many seasons.

The Raptors will now face the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks spearheaded by the presumptive 2019 Most Valuable Player in Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks lead the season series 3-1, with the team finally getting their 50-40-90 starter Malcolm Brogdon back.

Fortunately, LeBron James won't be around to rain on the Raptors' parade or anyone else for that matter.
