Toronto Raptors center Marc Gasol and forward Pascal Siakam made it clear after Game 2 that they needed to improve if their team was going to bounce back in this series.

The Raptors hav kicked off Game 3 with a much bigger sense of urgency. Gasol, in particular, has been especially aggressive early, and helped electrify the home crowd with a no-look pass to Siakam for the and-1 in the first quarter.

It is encouraging to see Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam getting going early. It's no secret that both players have struggled mightily through the first two games of the series. Fortunately, it appears they have managed to find their rhythm thus far in Game 3.

Gasol had shouldered the blame for Toronto's poor performance to start the series. He struggled to find his footing against this tenacious Bucks defense after shooting just 3-of-20 from the field through the first two games. To make matters worse, he was unable to make up the difference on the defensive end thanks to center Brook's Lopez's ability to stretch the floor.

Meanwhile, Siakam also admitted that he hardly looked like a candidate for this year's Most Improved Player after struggling to make an impact. On the night he had been announced as a nominee for the award, he put up a mere eight points on nine shots.

Fortunately, he and Gasol are looking to flip the script after being heavily involved to start the game. Both players will have an opportunity to answer back at the critics that question Toronto's supporting cast around forward Kawhi Leonard.
