The Washington Redskins main attraction so far this offseason has been Landon Collins. Their new addition brings star power to the secondary and should help solidify the safety position.

He's also taking no time in attempting to endear himself to the fans, with a short message on Twitter.

Collins has been very vocal about his excitement to be on the Redskins. He's a huge fan of Sean Taylor and has already spoken about him multiple times. The discussion he had about Dan Snyder giving him a signed game-worn Sean Taylor jersey will easily show you the emotion he has.

Now, he's making sure the fans know he's ready to get to work.

Collins spent the first four years of his career with Washington's NFC East rivals, the New York Giants. While there, he made it to two Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro at safety.

He's accumulated 437 tackles, eight interceptions, and 32 pass deflections in that time. Collins will clearly bring a lot to the team and give the Redskins an extremely talented player for the next six seasons.

What's even more exciting for fans of the Redskins, the safety is just 25. He's still entering his prime, and could easily give his best years to Washington.

The message was simple. He introduced himself, and gave the Redskins tagline ā€œHTTR, Hail to the Redskinsā€.

It might not seem like much, but it gives the impression that he's ready to be part of the team. That's all it takes. Collins is clearly someone who wants to be in Washington and is ready to soak up the culture.

Hopefully, he's part of the turnaround that this franchise desperately needs.
