Despite head coach Steve Kerr coming back to the sidelines, acting head coach Mike Brown wasn't bummed to go back to his assistant coach role — seeming as happy as ever to do a post-game interview after the Golden State Warriors‘ 132-113 Game 2 win.

Brown was asked what it was like when he first found out that Kerr was coaching the game. He quickly flipped the script after spotting referee Tony Brothers coming out of the tunnel on his way out of the arena — taking the chance to call him, stop him on his tracks and play a quick joke on him.

“When I found out Tony was going to be officiating the game, I was like ‘man, I’m glad I’m not coaching tonight,'” Brown said jokingly.

Brothers wasn't happy to hear that at first, saying “I'm hurt” before smiling again and continuing on his way down the tunnel.

Brown seems to be in good spirits despite the sudden coaching change, and so far it has proved to be a seamless transition for the team.
