Tim Tebow was one of the most prolific college quarterbacks in history, but his skills didn't translate well to the NFL. He spent only three years in the league before becoming a TV analyst and later chasing a Major League Baseball dream, but now he's attempting an NFL comeback by reuniting with Urban Meyer and signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end.

There were other opportunities for Tebow to get back into the football before this, with the AAF having called him multiple times. The league has since folded, but he stuck with his baseball career over a return to the gridiron … until now.

Even though he had his struggles in his first NFL go-round, Tebow also had some exciting moments that captured the attention of the league.

Let's look at the five best moments of Tim Tebow's first NFL stint.

5. Tebow wins game with six-yard rushing touchdown

This is where Tebow Mania really seemed to kick off. During the 2010 season, Tim Tebow started his second career game against the Houston Texans and led the team on a big comeback. At halftime, Tebow and the Denver Broncos were down 17-0, but in the second half, Tebow took over.

With just under six minutes left in the game, Tebow ran it in from six yards out to complete the comeback. This was the game that opened up the league's eyes and made some wonder if Tebow could be the guy to bring the Broncos back to glory.

4. Tebow keeps Broncos in the playoff race

Coming into the Broncos' game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos had won four of five games and were in the AFC Wild Card picture. Late in the game, Tebow led the team down the field to kick a game-tying field goal. In overtime, he took advantage of some good field position to lead the team down the field for the game-winning field goal.

The stats weren't that great, but he made the plays and kept the team in the playoff race.

3. Tebow wins shootout

Tim Tebow won games, but a lot of the time it was the defense keeping the team into it until Tebow could make the plays late to come back with a win. This was one of the games where the defense underperformed and it was Tebow's play that led the Broncos to win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Tebow finished the game completing 10-of-15 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns. Late in the game, it was once again Tebow who led the team down the field for a game-winning field goal.

2. Tebow plays horribly … until the last few minutes

Against the Miami Dolphins, the Broncos needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The first three and a half quarters, Tebow was terrible, but when it mattered most he made plays. Tebow threw a touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas to put the Broncos down eight. The Broncos successfully did an onside kick to give them the ball back. Tebow drove down the field again and found the end zone.

1. Tim Tebow pulls off the upset in the playoffs

Was there any question which would be the top moment of Tebow's career? The Broncos were big underdogs in their playoff game, but that didn't bother Tebow.

Tebow had a really good game during regulation and helped force overtime. During the first play of overtime, Tebow hit Thomas for an 80-yard touchdown.

Even though Tebow's career didn't last long, this is a play that will still be talked about in 30 years.
