The Atlanta Hawks are not done wheeling and dealing yet.

According to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hawks are on the phones looking for potential trades for all star forward Paul Millsap.

Millsap is the expendable player after the Hawks signed Dwight Howard to a three-year deal and are looking to give a sizable contract to free agent center Al Horford to return.

Having all three players creates a log jam at the front court, and unloading Millsap's $20 million dollar salary makes the most sense to them.

The Hawks also used some of their new cap space to sign Kent Bazemore to a max deal worth $70 million dollars to lock him in for the next four years.

Millsap also has a player option next summer that he may have planned to opt out of since the NBA salary cap will rise yet again, and free agents will be looking to get paid more max money.

Millsap has plenty to offer any team that will take him, and he is an excellent all-around player that can help a contending team get even better. Last season he averaged 17.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.7 steals per game, easily one of the Hawks best players nightly.

So far, the Hawks seem to have only spoken with the Suns on a possible trade, but nothing significant seems to have come out of that.
