When it comes to pop superstar Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky, the extraordinary is what we should all expect. The couple, who recently welcomed their second child, has now unveiled the unique moniker they've chosen for their newborn son: Riot Rose Mayers, InStyle reports.

The birth certificate, obtained by The Blast, confirmed the name and revealed that Rihanna gave birth on August 1, 2023, at 7:41 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. This unconventional name not only follows the couple's “R” naming tradition (their first child goes by RZA) but might also be a reference to A$AP Rocky's recently released song “Riot,” featuring Pharrell Williams.

With the arrival of their second child, Rihanna feels that her “family is now complete.” According to a source at People, “It’s something she’s always wanted. She loves being a mom, so this is where her mind is at the moment.”

For her pregnancy journey, the “Diamonds” singer turned to renowned OB-GYN Thais Aliabadi, a favorite among celebrities and previously featured on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Aliabadi also assisted in delivering Al Pacino's son, Roman.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's relationship has reportedly never been stronger since becoming parents. They are excited to expand their family and have found unity in parenting. “They have so much fun together and are very in love. They already shared a special connection, and parenting together has made their bond even stronger,” a source revealed.

Before becoming parents, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were longtime friends and collaborators who took their relationship to a romantic level in 2020.
