Kanye West is on the loose on Twitter. The rapper-producer ignited a wildfire online Wednesday when he ripped former United States President Barak Obama before lauding President Donald Trump. Again, welcome to 2018, where everything you know and understand suddenly all falls down.

But even before he caused Twitter hysteria by showing his support for Trump, Yeezy said something that Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey find a little offensive.

To that, Daryl Morey had this reaction.

Under Morey, the Rockets have become a pioneering team when it comes to using analytics in the NBA. Charles Barkley might hate the nerdification of the NBA by infusing the game with numbers and math equations, but he can’t say it is not an effective tool in helping teams improve, especially with how the Rockets are playing these days. The algorithm of the Rockets’ success is very likely stored in spreadsheets, so Kanye can wear his MAGA hat for the rest of his life if he wants to, but for Morey, asking people to burn databases is way over the line.

Speaking of the Rockets, the team can close out the deal in the first round with a win Wednesday night at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
