Houston Rockets forward Gerald Green says the team will get together for one more workout before training camp starts in October.

The Rockets had a mini training camp at UCLA last month.

Building camaraderie is important for every team, but it's more crucial for a title contender such as the Rockets. Houston acquired former MVP Russell Westbrook this summer from the Oklahoma City Thunder, reuniting him with James Harden. The team also added Tyson Chandler, so incorporating Westbrook and Chandler will take time despite how talented each player is.

Gerald Green will have his usual role with the Rockets, spacing the floor and providing consistent 3-point shooting. Houston is counting on its secondary pieces to step up next season, especially as it aims to come out on top of the rugged Western Conference and win the championship.

Westbrook and Harden are expected to play like the superstars they are each night, so it's up to Green and the rest of the crew to play a supporting role and help the two stars deliver a title to Houston.

Green averaged 9.2 points and 2.5 rebounds last season for the Rockets. He shot 40.0 percent from the field, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.8 percent from the free-throw line in 73 games.
