Rockets likely to start Eric Gordon vs. Blazers
Houston has lost three straight games now, even collapsing in their latest game against the Dallas Mavericks. The Rockets are looking to spark another winning run, and they are considering to make a lineup change which will see Eric Gordon start in place of James Ennis.

Eric Gordon has already started eight times for the Rockets, but he has never featured in the starting lineup at the same time as both James Harden and Chris Paul. Meanwhile, Ennis has started in all 22 games he played in.
It remains to be seen if the Rockets will indeed use Paul, Harden and Gordon as starters, especially with the defensive drawbacks that it pose. However, given their recent slump, they might try to experiment with the said lineup.
Gordon is averaging 15.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the Rockets this 2018-19 season. On the other hand, Harden is putting up 30.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists on a nightly basis, while Paul is at 17.7 points, 4.6 boards and 8.4 dimes per contest.
