Great team chemistry can really go a long way, as it does with Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden and his teammates en route to the best record in the entire league this past regular season.
During an interview with members of the media over weekend broadcast on NBATV, Harden opened up about how close he and his teammates on the Rockets are.
According to Harden, this is just one of the many reasons why Houston is such a successful basketball team heading into Sunday’s Game 3 Western Conference Finals matchup with the Golden State Warriors.
“That is the foundation. We talked about what we are trying to accomplish and things that need to be done to do it,” Harden said. “From the Bahamas, to Vegas, to just dinner nights. Just different things like that. That all adds up and it builds up. That’s one of the reasons why we’re so successful and why we’re still here.

Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni echoed his star player’s words and mentioned how tight of a bond there is between guys like Harden, point guard Chris Paul, forward Trevor Ariza and forward P.J. Tucker.
“Everybody has something to say from a good place and everybody knows that we are from a good place. Whenever that happens and chemistry is built, it makes a big different. Usually that works over years,” coach D’Antoni said.
With the series tied at 1-1, tomorrow night’s contest between the Rockets and Warriors at Oracle Arena should be quite a classic game as Houston looks to take back homecourt advantage.
